Description
Simple Brine Shrimp Hatchery
Produce a fresh supply of live food at home with the Simon The Shrimp Brine Shrimp Hatchery.
This compact hatchery provides a convenient way to hatch baby brine shrimp, also known as brine shrimp nauplii, for feeding aquarium fish, fry and other aquatic inhabitants. Live baby brine shrimp can help encourage natural feeding behaviour and are especially useful when raising young fish.
The circular internal design helps guide newly hatched brine shrimp towards the central collection area. The removable textured lid reduces the amount of light entering the outer section, while the opening in the centre allows light to attract the hatched brine shrimp towards the collection cup.
The raised white centre handle makes the collection section easier to lift out when the brine shrimp are ready to harvest.

How to Use
Add prepared saltwater and brine shrimp eggs according to the instructions supplied with your chosen eggs and aquarium salt.
Place the lid onto the hatchery and position it in a suitable warm, well-lit location. Once the eggs begin to hatch, the baby brine shrimp will be attracted towards the light entering through the centre opening.
Lift the central collection section carefully and rinse the harvested brine shrimp with clean freshwater before feeding them to your aquarium inhabitants.
Rinse the hatchery thoroughly after each use. Do not clean it with soap, detergent or household cleaning products.
Please note: Brine shrimp eggs and aquarium salt are sold separately and are not included with the hatchery.
