Description

The L181 peppermint bristlenose pleco, is a beautiful black and fine white spots bristlenose pleco. The juveniles have an eye catching white seam on the tail and dorsal fin. This will vanish as they reach maturity. Reaching a maximum size of around 15cm or smaller. A tank size of 100L or above is recommended.
The peaceful nature of this makes it an ideal candidate for a community tank with suitable tank mates.
Tank conditions should be soft acidic water to replicate their natural habitat. Ph of 6.5 -7.5. Although they can adjust to most water parameters.
Temperatures can range from 24-27c with the higher end being preferred. Ensuring there is plenty oxygen getting in to the water via filtration or air stones.
A rare and beautiful fish will make any tank pop with their presence.
