Description

Floating and sinking Cone Feeders

The Simon The Shrimp Sinking Cone Feeder is designed to bring food directly to bottom-feeding fish and shrimp while helping keep feeding areas cleaner and more controlled.

Once placed on the substrate, the feeder remains on the aquarium floor and keeps the food concentrated inside its perforated cone. Fish and shrimp can then pick, pull and graze on the food through the openings.

It is ideal for foods such as:

  • Frozen bloodworm
  • Frozen or live brine shrimp
  • Daphnia and other small frozen foods
  • Small pellets and sinking foods

Rather than food immediately spreading across the substrate, disappearing into plants or becoming trapped between gravel, the feeder helps keep it concentrated in one accessible area.

This makes it particularly suitable for Corydoras, plecos, shrimp and other bottom-feeding species, allowing several animals to feed naturally from different points around the cone.

Pellet foods can also be used, gradually softening and releasing through the openings as fish and shrimp feed.

A simple and effective way to create a dedicated feeding area, reduce scattered food and make feeding easier to monitor.
