Designed with bottom-dwelling fish in mind, this enclosed cave provides a comfortable retreat where plecos can hide, rest and feel protected. It is also suitable for shrimp and other small aquarium inhabitants that enjoy exploring sheltered spaces.

The tunnel-style design creates a darker, enclosed environment that can help shy or territorial fish feel more secure. Its simple appearance blends easily with rocks, gravel, wood and planted aquarium layouts without overpowering the rest of your aquascape.

A key feature is the removable back section, which provides easy access to the inside of the cave. This makes it especially useful for breeders, as pleco eggs and newly hatched fry can be checked or carefully removed with less disturbance.

The Pleco Cave is available in three sizes:

Small — suitable for smaller plecos, juvenile fish and shrimp. H30 x W30 x L150mm
Medium — ideal for growing plecos and medium-sized bottom dwellers. H35 x W40 x L150mm
Large — provides additional space for larger plecos and mature fish. H40 x  W45 x L150mm

Please select a cave that gives your fish enough room to enter and rest comfortably. Fish sizes and body shapes vary, so we recommend checking the listed internal dimensions before ordering.

Each cave is made from aquarium-safe material and is designed for freshwater aquarium use.

Before placing the cave into your aquarium, rinse it thoroughly using clean water only. Do not use soap, detergent or household cleaning products.
